The CONMED AirSeal® iFS Intelligent Flow System is a clinical insufflation platform that lets surgeons operate at low pressure with confidence. Unlike conventional high-flow insufflation, AirSeal® keeps the pneumoperitoneum stable even during large leaks and heavy suction, so the working space is maintained throughout the procedure.

At its core is a proprietary valveless cannula that forms a responsive gas barrier, keeping CO₂ flow and pressure consistent without compromising surgical exposure. Published studies associate low-pressure surgery with AirSeal® with less postoperative pain, better intraoperative respiratory parameters, and shorter recovery — supporting ERAS protocols across laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures in urology, gynecology, colorectal, and general surgery.
